1. What Erly is

Erly is a wake-up alarm and morning-productivity application. It offers alarm scheduling, optional wake-up challenges (math, QR scan, voice, walk, memory), morning missions, habits and statistics. Features may evolve over time as the app is updated.

2. Not a safety device — important

Erly is a discipline tool, not a safety-critical alarm. Do not rely on it for medical needs, medication reminders, caregiving, emergency waking (infants, elderly, disability support), fire or security purposes, or any situation where missing an alarm could cause harm. Alarms can fail for reasons outside our control (device settings, battery optimisation, OS restrictions, hardware faults). Always keep a backup means of waking for anything important.

3. Not medical or professional advice

Nothing in Erly — including statistics, streaks or any sleep-related content — is medical advice. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not claim to measure sleep quality or health. Consult a qualified professional for sleep or health concerns.

4. Subscriptions and pricing

Erly is free to use for everyday waking. Erly Premium is billed through the app store you purchased it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store), under that store's terms. Prices are always shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account before the renewal date; you can manage or cancel them in your store's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy — we don't process payments and can't issue store refunds directly.

5. Fair use

You may use Erly for yourself, on your own devices. You may not: resell or redistribute the app; reverse-engineer it to build a competing product; attempt to disrupt its cloud services; or use it in any unlawful way.

6. Your content

Alarm labels, challenge settings, missions and other content you create remain yours. By enabling Cloud Backup you ask us to store that content for you; you can disable backup or request deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

7. Availability

We aim to keep Erly available and working well, but the app and website are provided "as is" and "as available". Features can change, and services (like cloud backup) can be interrupted. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erly's author is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including oversleeping and its consequences (missed classes, exams, work, travel or appointments), lost data, or device issues arising from use of the app. Your store purchase may carry additional statutory rights that these terms don't limit.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The current version is always on this page, and significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
